Vision + Voice is a personal and transformative deep dive into who you are as an artist, helping you identify what supports you in expressing yourself fully and authentically. You’ll discover YOU in your art, allowing you to bring your vision forward, and to clearly connect with your unique voice. 

In collaboration with artist and coach Kerry Schroeder, we have created a unique and inspired program that addresses many of the core concerns artists face. We want to inspire and empower you to work with passion and conviction while trusting yourself in the process. 

Kerry and I bring years of experience in both art-making and coaching artists to this collaborative offering. By combining our individual knowledge and unique perspectives on the creative process, this program offers artists the opportunity to connect with and articulate their unique vision for their work. We are passionate about helping artists to develop a working structure that makes that possible, while supporting them in managing the emotional labour that art-making often requires of us.

REFLECTIVE . INSIGHTFUL . POWERFUL

Together we’ll explore and unpack areas of the creative process that are not typically a part of art learning curriculum: working with intuition and intention, accessing your visual language and voice, understanding the self in relationship to art-making, the nature of the creative process and how to meet that with awareness and mindfulness, and much more. 

You’ll unlock your creative expression and engage with your art at a much deeper level, allowing you to easily move past creative blocks and navigate the challenges that artists often face, to make your most personal and authentic art – igniting our inner creative fire.

Vision + Voice is an 8-week online program. It features pre-recorded video tutorials that allow you to learn at your own pace, live coaching sessions for interactive learning and sharing, and experiential exercises and assignments designed to expand your artistic vision and identify areas where you may be sabotaging your creative efforts.

Each week’s live session provides an opportunity to ask questions and gain concrete methods for developing creative resilience and a clear vision for your work. Through these sessions, you'll gain a deeper understanding of your unique artistic voice and find yourself more fully in your work.

This program helps artists to clarify who they are, why that matters, and how that informs their art-making.

Throughout the program, you’ll be supported by expert guidance and a like-minded community. We've curated the best content from our areas of expertise to provide you with real tools and strategies for strengthening your art practice from the inside out.

I’m Cheryl Taves and I’m a working artist and creativity coach. I love supporting artists, helping them engage more deeply with their art-making and creative process. It’s been a passion of mine to share this work with with a broader audience, allowing it to grow and build into a community of like-minded creatives, sharing, supporting and making their art.
